This website is about my car - it's a 1997 Trans Am. You're probably wondering why somebody would spend their time and money devoting a website to their car. In short, I love my car and the fun it gives me. Well, maybe that's not a good answer……

Anyways, after college, I worked in Los Angeles. I was driving my Chevy Beretta and realized it just wasn't cool enough for cruising around the LA freeways. So I began looking for a new car, particularly the new Corvette LS1 because I wanted something fun. Now, just being out of college and working for a few months, I found it very hard to get a loan for a $40K Corvette because I didn't have a credit history. So I did the next best thing, find a sport car with a Corvette engine at a much reasonable price. It just so happens the Chevrolet Z28 and Pontiac Formula/Trans Am have a Corvette engine, the LT1. The LT1 in 1997 for the fbodies was the last year for that particular engine. I didn't care so I went car shopping. I test-drove both the Z28 and Trans Am. Both were fun cars to drive but I opted for the Trans Am because the styling was ferocious compared to the Z28. So, in December 1996 I bought the 1997 Trans Am and the rest is history.
